Every bride wants that wedding day glow but the question is – how do you get it? Is there a single facial you go to before your wedding that does the magic for you? Are women just born with it?
The answer is – consistency. Brides need a skin care routine set up at least 6 – 8 months before the wedding that they practice consistently. We met with the professional skin care aestheticians at 1Clinic – Toronto’s highly appraised professional medical skin care clinic and asked them how brides can achieve that bridal glow in the most realistic way possible.
1Clinic Aesthetician Bosa, gave her advice, “Brides need to start by visiting a skin care professional and getting their skin assessed. Everyone’s skin is different so each individual requires different products and facials”. Bosa recommended that brides see a professional well in advance – this way if your skin as a negative reaction to any products or facials, you have plenty of time to recover and change the routine.
Doctor Linda who is the CEO of 1Clinic recently shared a post all about her personal skin care routine before heading down the alter.
Ultimately, brides, please make sure to see a skin care professional and not just go to the spa for a relaxation facial. There are all kinds of facials out there but you need one that solves for the problems you want to tackle with your own skin. Once you find a professional and create a skin care routine together – follow it everyday. Be consistent, apply the right products when you need to and get those regular facials and treatments.
Your skin will thank you on the wedding day!
